Short Term Medical

Short Term Medical insurance has many of the same benefits of an regular individual medical insurance plan.  You can purchase Short Term Medical through most carriers that provide Individual or Group Health Insurance. 

Short Term Medical is available to those individuals between jobs, going to school, just out of school, COBRA or any other situation that may require the need for something temporary for insurance coverage versus long term.

Generally, Short Term Medical is less expensive, but may have some limits in areas of coverage.  You can purchase coverage for 1 month up to 1 year.
